Is peertube good and what instace do you use? And what android client do you use?

I prefer Peertube over other alternatives although Odysee is a close second. I use Tilvids as my instance of choice:

If you use Newpipe (a YouTube 3rd party app for android) you can use it to interface with peer tube as well in a way that is somewhat* seamless.

Most of the people I follow are on YouTube, a few cross post to peer tube as well. Having one app that integrates both lets me use peertube where I can and YouTube the other 90% of the time

Is there a peertube instance that’s for live music video and audio?

I recently joined https://diode.zone . There’s not much content. We definitely need more content creators on PeerTube. But there is the odd gem here and there.

It’s decent. I’ve got my own instance, but there are many out there that federate together. Thorium was a really good client.

There’s several subdomain of peertube.biz that have different shows from around the internet, for example review.peertube.biz has review shows.

https://beetoons.tv/ has some interesting cartoons.

There’s not a lot of content on peertube. Since YouTube monetizes content, that’s where the content goes.

Peertube works really well, just nobody uses it :(
