Ahh, so you want to know what Joe did last friday afternoon on companys work PC? No problem, you can unlock this fearure either for mere $3 for this specific case or low low $25 monthly subscription for spying on Joe all the time … probably someone over in MS


I’m already using it since yesterday. Switch from Simple Mobile Phone was as easy as it gets because they are basically the same at the moment.


Actually it does not, sadly. I’ve used it for years (probably five or even more) and ditched it couple months ago when I got angry at it. The main problem is I could not force it to accept MMS on newer android (used to work on my old phone IIRC) which is crucial for my work - because voice mail gets delivered as MMS in my country. Every time I got work phone call that I missed meant voice mail that never got delivered. I got notification that I have MMS, and that I need to allow them, but that’s it. Everything was allowed in the app and in the systsm, still no MMS.

Yeah, I use it on linux too. I’d substitute Foobar for Strawberry player on linux for playbacl and tags editing.


I would probably use something like Musicbrainz Pickard or some more feature rich player like Foobar2000.


Nope. At least not in my country. There is 3 months “apprenticeship” where either employer or employee can terminate the contract without any reasoning. One hour you’re employed, the other you are not. Is it because boss did not like your face? Could be and it still would be legal… So the same also applies to refusing to share info to US, no need to prove anything to anyone, you’re just fired.


The company wouldn’t even pay you if it wasn’t required to, so…

Yes, I am pretty sure. I know most people there personally. It’s kind of sad it even exists, pretty much waste of money in this case.

//edit: it’s virtually impossible to become rep in this case. The company is like family business (not real family, but everyone knows everyone since forever kind of thing) and it is like stalemate for everyone both in union and in management. Unions know they won’t do anything without trying hard (and they won’t because most of them are nearing retirement and they want their peace) and management know unions won’t cause them problems, because they’re what they are.


Well, our ~800 people company has unions too. But they don’t do sh#t for people. And I mean real sh#t. Except for once a year they have a meeting with free sandwiches they eat and then go home. Another year of unions well done… apparently by them.

But my friends working in big technical/industrial corp say their unions are quite strong and they at least care for employees a bit.

So yeah, there’re unions to this day, but their meaning is not met everywhere.
