There’s no privacy in SMS messaging anyway. I use the messages app from AOSP. A little ugly but it works just fine.

Yeah. I’m Gen Z. I was really taken aback when my high school friends had apps on their phones that showed their real time locations to each other. I was like “WHY?” and they responded along the lines of “Well why not?”… I have no words…

This might not matter to 60hz users but to the ones used to 120hz, it is jarring to go back to 60hz. Everything feels a split second slower and animations look pretty choppy.

• On Android, Firefox lacks per-site process isolation, which makes it less secure than Chromium browsers (not insecure, just less secure.)
• With privacy.resistFingerprinting on, Firefox on Android is stuck at 60hz, which I don’t like.
• There is a noticeable difference in performance between Firefox and Chromium. Firefox is consistently slower when loading webpages, which you notice after using Chromium.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Firefox. I use LibreWolf on desktop. I just can’t justify using it on Android, at least not yet. Guess I’ll go back to using Vanadium.

Maybe Apple Music. Thats what I use. If you don’t trust Apple you can just download music from the Internet to listen locally.

Does anyone have another Chromium browser recommendation for Android?

You can use biometrics instead of a password. Also, Google Authenticator not having a password requirement is a massive security risk to me. A 2FA app, just like a password manager should ABSOLUTELY be protected with passwords/biometrics.
