This morning a “Special offer” button showed up in Proton Mail for me offering a 1 year Proton Family plan for 33% off. That comes out to $239.88 (USD) per year. https://proton.me/mail/black-friday

Proton Calendar is the world’s first end-to-end encrypted calendar that allows you to keep your life private.
Proton Drive is a free end-to-end encrypted cloud storage that allows you to securely backup and share your files. It’s open source, publicly audited, and Swiss-based.
Proton Pass Proton Pass is a free and open-source password manager which brings a higher level of security with rigorous end-to-end encryption of all data (including usernames, URLs, notes, and more) and email alias support.
SimpleLogin lets you send and receive emails anonymously via easily-generated unique email aliases.
It’s clear Proton don’t give a shit about Linux users, so I won’t be upgrading to the unlimited plan. I’m happy to use their email service with the 15 Gb of storage I have on the smaller plan, but I don’t see the point of upgrading to unlimited to get faster VPN and more storage. When it comes to VPN and Drive, Proton are actively hostile towards the users who give them the most vocal support, and that’s a bit of a dealbreaker for me.
