I have Immich. I’ve even spent countless hours getting my nas folder structure imported without destroying the originals. I’ll be using both now. Not a waste by any means I must stress.
Although, proton says it can’t find my camera folder so isn’t working for me yet.
Yeh this is probably the quickest, simplistic and most robust way. Not the cheapest but unless you have unraid ready and know exactly what to do you’d be hard pushed to find a better solution.
I use unraid, nextcloud, Immich, Tailscale and so on . It’s not set and forget.
A paid version of WA. Like the one that existed before Facebook bought it. Who’d have thought £2 a year was enough with millions if not close to a billion users would cut it.
The Linux client has been great on desktop but laptop i have to kill the ipv6 leak protection uid now and again. Android is fine for me, never really had many issues. All in all, rather happy. Long time user.
