I would want the Faraday cage to have a beacon on it, so that I could find my phone even if I lost it while it was in its Faraday cage. Logical.

You can do that with Fairphones. In fact you can take the whole screen off them in the dark with your bare hands. Also, they have two SIM slots which I think is a pro for privacy.

Check out YUNOhost. If you’ve gone off Nextcloud and just want to sync files you could simply install Syncthing and be done with it.

Man that sounds horrendous. I’d heard it had gotten pretty bad there but hearing it first hand from someone who lives there makes me think how I would feel living there. Does the same apply to laptops? And is it just when entering the country?
